We are looking for a Finance Business Partner Strategic Initiatives & Investments Manager, within the Group Finance Strategic Initiatives & Investments unit. The role reports to the Group Finance Strategic Initiatives & InvestmentsAssociate Director and it is based in Amsterdam. 

Job Purpose

This role will act as a key finance business partner to Strategic functions, supporting strategic planning, transformational initiatives and the incubation of new business models. The position offers exposure to corporate strategy, innovation, venture capital, cross-functional transformation and plays a critical role in ensuring the financial sustainability and value creation of long-term initiatives

Key Accountabilities

• Partner with the Corporate Strategy, Venture Capital & Incubator, New Business Development, Corporate Transformation, and Insights & Analytics to evaluate the financial impact of new strategic opportunities.
• Assess financial viability and ROI of long-term innovation projects, partnership models, and incubated ventures.
• Lead financial evaluations for transformational initiatives, coordinating across functions to collect inputs and monitor progress on key projects.
• Support the implementation of the 3-Year Strategic Plan, providing clear and actionable financial insights.
• Develop financial models and dashboards to track the performance of strategic projects and business cases.
• Collaborate on scenario planning and forecasting processes for high-impact initiatives
• Support compliance with internal governance standards and risk mitigation frameworks across strategic initiatives.
• Assist in financial due diligence and post-deal tracking for venture capital investments and potential M&A.
• Lead financial evaluations for new initiatives, coordinating across functions to collect inputs and monitor progress on key projects.
• Actively contribute to the integration of ESG metrics into strategic project assessments and long-term financial planning.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in a similar role
• Master's degree  in Economics, Engineering or similar
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Strong analytical mindset and business acumen
• Proven ability to connect financial analysis with strategic thinking
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with financial modeling and business performance tools
