In this role, you will provide dedicated finance support to the Oral Healthcare (OHC) business unit. We generate 1.3Bln EUR of revenue annually and are part of the Personal Health business. You are a part of the OHC finance team and report to the Business Unit Head of Finance. You will work closely with the OHC global business team and the global Philips finance team. This role will bring significant growth opportunities.
Your role:
- Being the right-hand support to BU HoF in providing actionable and accurate financial information or issue resolution to BU.
- Delivering quality, accurate, timely and actionable financial insights to the Business/Category performance management and decision-making processes.
- Overseeing and managing key planning cycles for the Business – Strategic Plan, AOP, FC; with the aim to perform against the business targets and achieve high forecast accuracy.
- Supporting BU/Category Marketing and Portfolio teams with proactive, forward-looking and accurate Gross Margin simulations and analytics.
- Taking initiative for in-depth analysis to steer financial performance at Region/Category level and interact with Business Marketing teams to make the right interventions timely.
- Initiating, leading and executing process improvement projects across CoEs/Businesses/ Business cross-functional teams end-to-end; to improve financial outcomes, or simplify and/or strengthen processes.
- Be the go-to-Finance-person for end-to-end Business team for financial tools, financial data interpretation, finance-related issue resolution and / or topic-refreshers.
- Onboarding Business team members to Philips finance processes and equipping them with the right tools and access rights to retrieve financial information.
- Driving and safeguarding business integrity by ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
You're the right fit if:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- ~5 years of progressive working experience and roles in e.g. Commercial finance / Business controlling, FP&A, financial control, management reporting and analysis, within an international environment.
- A curious mindset, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong business and advisory acumen.
- Executive presence and proven track record of interacting with senior management.
- Coaching and guiding abilities to other finance colleagues.
- Ability to balance speed and accuracy; manage priorities on own.
- Partner with multiple stakeholder groups and collaborate towards common goals.
- Take proactive ownership and accountability for independent analytical work or process improvement.
- Advanced technical skills in Excel, ERP (SAP preferred) and PowerPoint.
- Experience with reporting & analytical tools, Business-Intelligence environments, SQL, PowerBi etc.
- Eagerness to learn and develop, curious about adopting new technology (e.g. AI).
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This role is an office role.
