Finance Business Partner

Position Overview:

The Finance Business Partner acts as a key liaison between finance and operations, providing strategic and analytical support across the business. This individual will oversee financial performance reviews, lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives, support capital planning, and identify opportunities to enhance processes and decision-making. This role reports directly to senior finance leadership.

Core Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the division’s budgeting cycle and periodic forecasting processes
• Evaluate financial performance across multiple areas including capital expenditures, receivables, and other key financial drivers
• Develop and present reporting packages covering KPIs, forecasts, and actual results, highlighting risks and actionable insights
• Collaborate closely with operational leadership to influence both strategic planning and day-to-day decision-making
• Provide financial guidance and analytical support to various levels of management
• Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration and sharing of best practices across teams
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and support ongoing compliance efforts
• Contribute to broader initiatives and projects at both the regional and organizational level

Candidate Profile:

• Meets ITAR eligibility requirements (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA is a plus
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a complex, multi-entity environment
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Strong capability to translate financial data into operational insights
• Willingness to take a hands-on approach and partner directly with business leaders
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Hyperion is beneficial
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI
• High level of discretion when handling confidential information
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
