GUIMA PALFINGER, a subsidiary of the PALFINGER Group, is based in Caussade (Tarn-et-Garonne) and employs 210 people with a turnover of €83 million. As a global leader, GUIMA PALFINGER designs, develops, manufactures, assembles, and distributes hookloaders—innovative lifting solutions for removable containers.

Reporting directly to the Financial and Managing Director, this role combines Finance Business Partnering and Target CostinG into one integrated position with a strong end-to-end cost focus. You will play a key role in shaping cost efficiency from early project stages through to financial steering, while collaborating across international teams and contributing to the global PALFINGER Target Costing community.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a Finance Business Partner to local management, supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance monitoring
• Lead target costing activities for hook & skip loader projects across regions (NAM, Europe, APAC), ensuring alignment and cost transparency
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production teams to challenge designs and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Track and validate cost realization, ensuring measures are reflected accurately in SAP calculations, budgets, and financials
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of target costing standards, methods, and finance processes within the global organization

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed degree in Finance is mandatory (ideally combined with Mechanical Engineering or techno-economic background)
• Experience in cost-focused roles such as Target Costing, Cost Engineering, Industrial Controlling, or Project Cost Management
• Strong understanding of SAP, particularly in product costing and financial calculations
• Analytical, hands-on mindset with the ability to translate technical decisions into financial impact
• Strong communication skills in international, cross-functional environments; very good English and French required
