Role and Responsibilities
Finance and Accounting (F&A) Advisory - Vice President - English
Function: Applied Advisory
Location: Europe, Amsterdam
In this role, candidate must have ability to seamlessly blend consulting (consultative skills, tight project management) and operational (practice know-how on industry F&A processes, analytics) skills and be accountable for the results. Key relationships for this role are Practice organization, Technology teams and partners, Business Development Teams, Regional and Global operations teams, Client Stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Responsible for business development, team leadership, and delivery excellence.
- Drive new business opportunities through strong OEM relationship, alliance ownership including OEM account executive relationship, client relationships and partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal leadership on practice vision, growth planning, resourcing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop integrated, cross-practice solutions that serve client needs beyond EPM.
- Participate in thought leadership efforts, including white papers, speaking engagements, and industry events.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients offering strategic guidance on performance management and transformation initiatives.
- The person would have demonstrated a combine sales acumen, functional and technical expertise, and a passion for team development to shape the future of our service offerings.
- Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes
- A proven track record in defining system roadmap, gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and SLAs, and implementing robust and scalable solutions
- Architect and oversee complex implementations.
- Must have experience working directly with the client managing full life-cycle projects
- Ensure consistent delivery quality, knowledge sharing, and solution innovation across engagements.
- Strong commitment towards project and professional goal
- Experience of working in consulting team to deliver bespoke solutions using agile development methods.
- Exceptional interpersonal, team-building , and communication skills.
- Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of functional and technical consultants. This isn’t a pure people manager role
- Ability to train internal staff of the advanced tech concepts
- An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or related degree from Reputable institution.
- MBA or CPA qualification or master’s degree is preferable but not essential
- Full lifecycle implementation experience

- R2R automation platforms such as Blackline, Trinitech , OneStream, Workiva, Redwood
- Receivables automation platforms such as HighRadius , TreviPay , BlackLine (credit/risk). Versapay , Quadient AR/ YayPay (collections).
- Payable automation platforms such as Basware, Trilapti , Coupa, Concur, HighRadius
- Financial Consolidation & Close platforms from Oracle, SAP, OneStream, Board
- Planning platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, Board, Tagemi, IBM, Workday
- EDW and middleware and data relationship management tools
- Agentic and AI adoption platforms and tools
