Pride Health is looking for Accountant to support our client’s medical facility, which is 100% remote Pay range - $30 TO $34/hr on W2 Length of assignment – 13 weeks of Contract with possibility of extension Location : 100% remote
Job Description
Help support department leadership with accounts receivable, consolidated billing, and other accounting functions such as expenses and reimbursements across various platforms. Maintain financial files and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, with preference for concentration in Accounting or Finance.
- Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Public Administration (MPA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in a financial analysis or accounting function.
- Highly analytical with demonstrated ability to identify, scrutinize, improve, and streamline complex work processes.
- Ability to interpret financial data and operating metrics.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management inside and outside Finance.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support department leadership with Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Assist with Consolidated Billing processes.
- Process and manage expenses and reimbursements across multiple platforms.
- Maintain accurate financial files and records.
- Interpret financial data and operating metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes.
- Collaborate with Finance leadership and other departments to support accounting operations.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
- Preferred: Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Public Administration (MPA)
