Expense Accounting Coordinator

Position Overview:
As the Expense Accounting Coordinator, you will be responsible for receiving all company invoices through multiple means which include but are not limited to mail, email, fax and interoffice mail. You will be responsible for entering invoices into our software-based approval process in a timely manner and high levels of accuracy. In addition to Corporate Expense maintenance you will be required to process our customer collections using excel and Microsoft Access.
Responsibilities:
Auditing all vendor accounts, following up on any billing issues that may arise Data entry of invoices into company software programs Labeling invoices by vendor number accurately and reviewing check due all notes Reviewing vendor statements, following up on open invoices and credits Process and maintain all customer collections as a 3rd party Corresponding with customers and vendors regarding payment status or other concerns regarding their account Partnering with Expense team and other departments to resolve any expense – related issues Ensuring compliance with company expense policies and procedures Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Environment:
Warehouse Office – approx. 65F – 70F
Schedule:
Monday – Friday Standard Business Hours
Compensation:
$23.00 - $25.00
Experience:
Preferred: Six Months (6 mo) – One (1) years’ experience in Accounting, bookkeeping or relevant field Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Proficiency in office software such as Excel and Microsoft Office Suite etc.
