Position Title:
Executive Compensation Analyst-Corporate HR Administration-Mount Sinai Health System-Full Time-Days
Positions Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Executive Compensation, supports the design, analysis, and administration of executive compensation programs.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and analysis of executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, and long-term plans
- Prepare compensation benchmarking analyses using market survey data and peer group comparisons
- Maintain executive compensation data, systems, and reporting tools with a high level of accuracy
- Assist in the development of materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Trustees
- Execute tasks to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal governance standards
- Model financial impact of compensation programs and proposed changes
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and participate in projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling, data analysis, pivot tables)
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- 5+ years of Human Resource experience with at least 2 years in compensation, executive compensation, consulting, or finance/analytics preferred.
- Familiarity with compensation surveys (e.g., Mercer, Radford) and governance best practices preferred.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
