Rising Juniors/Seniors with accounting majors and high GPA preferred

Description of position:
Candidate will assist a major brokerage/investment banking firm primarily in State and Local tax audits. They must be willing to assume administrative tasks in addition to tax return work paper analysis. Must be a team player. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in the corporate tax field.
Requirements:
• Students must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Accounting majors, rising Junior in 4+1 program or sophomore (30-60 credits) standing in 4+1 program.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• Prior corporate Accounting/Tax office experience is a strong plus but not required.
• Ability to adapt to in-house software and tax return preparation software.
• Available to work at least 20 hours a week during the school year and fulltime hours when school is not in session.
