·        Enterprise-level thinking: Demonstrated strength in long-range planning, critical analysis, and sound decision-making to align procurement functions with statewide goals and organizational priorities.

What is this career opportunity?
We are seeking a leader with excellent communication and a proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to serve as the Enterprise Agency Procurement Services Manager within the State Procurement Services Division (SPSD). This newly created leadership role will be instrumental in advancing the State of Montana’s procurement centralization efforts, championing procurement excellence and driving enterprise-wide process improvements.  In this role you will report directly to the SPSD administrator, and provide direction, support, and strategic alignment for procurement services across 16 state agencies.  You will directly supervise staff in 6 of those agencies while providing guidance and support to the others, ranging from hands-on procurement services to connecting them with other SPSD team members for specialized support.
