Location: Accounting and Finance Office, Teacher Administrative Center (TAC) 3215 Cuming St, Omaha, NE 68131

Reports To:  Accounting Lead, Accounting and Finance Office

Work Schedule/FLSA Status: 261 Duty Days (12-Months) non-exempt;  Work hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. OR 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Salary Schedule:  Office Personnel36F,  Starting Rate Step 1 = $22.58, Salary credit may be awarded for applicable experience.

Position Purpose:  This position is responsible for the daily processing of accounting transactions in the Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable systems.

Essential Performance Responsibilities:

Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by supervisor and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

Equipment:  This position requires knowledge of using Microsoft Office on a personal computer.  Need to be able to use a 10-key adding machine by touch. 

Travel:  Minimal travel will be required.

This position is treated as a full-time non-exempt classified position. The terms of your employment will be governed by applicable state laws regulating employment in a Nebraska public school and Board of Education policies, as those laws and policies may change from time to time.
