District Finance Director

Sidney Public Schools is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional to serve as the District Finance Director. This key leadership position plays a vital role in supporting the financial health and operational success of the district.

Responsibilities include payroll processing, accounts payable, budget development and maintenance, financial forecasting, implementation and oversight of district budget policies, preparation of monthly financial reports for the Board of Education, and attendance at all board meetings. The Finance Director will work closely with district administration to ensure sound fiscal management, transparency, and compliance with state and local requirements.

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational, technology, financial, and positive communication skills; demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret financial data; maintain a high level of confidentiality; and work effectively in a team-oriented environment dedicated to student success.
