Supply Chain: The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth.
Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
The Director of Raw Materials Procurement is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the organization’s global sourcing strategies for $1B of direct materials spend annually. This position ensures cost competitiveness, supply continuity, quality, and innovation across all raw material categories. The role partners closely with operations, R&D, finance, and supply chain to align procurement strategies with business objectives and drive enterprise value. This leader oversees supplier relationships, category strategy, and risk management, while leading a high-performing procurement team and managing significant spend. Additional responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute global category strategies for raw materials aligned to enterprise goals
- Analyze market dynamics, supply-demand trends, and cost drivers to inform sourcing decisions
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, RFx processes, and supplier selection
- Establish and manage supplier partnerships and lead complex contract negotiations
- Own raw materials spend, budgets, and savings targets
- Manage risk management program - oversee commodity hedging program
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including geopolitical and commodity volatility
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and finance to support innovation and continuity
- Lead and develop procurement team members to drive performance and growth
- Effectively communicating with Executive leadership on category/commodity insights and performance results
The Perfect Blend: Experience
- 10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, including direct materials sourcing
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic sourcing skills
- Experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, or consumer goods preferred
- Demonstrated experience reporting out to executive leadership
- Proven delivery of Cost savings and cost avoidance
- Supply continuity and risk mitigation
- Supplier performance (quality, delivery, innovation)
- Working capital improvements
- Procurement efficiency and compliance metrics
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
- Ability to operate in global and complex environments

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be located in either Chicago, IL or Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations
- Travel up to 25%

The salary range for this position is $139,000-$195,000 annually
