Northrop Grumman is looking for a Payroll & Timekeeping Director. This position will be located in Irving, Texas and offer partial telework. The Payroll & Timekeeping Director will lead the Financial Shared Services teams supporting Northrop Grumman payroll and timekeeping processes. The Payroll & Timekeeping Director leads end‑to‑end payroll processing and time‑keeping operations for a global workforce, ensuring accurate, timely payments and compliance with all tax, labor, and defense‑related regulations. They oversee the integration and optimization of payroll and time‑keeping systems (including SAP S/4, Workday, and related tools), drive automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives, and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and auditors. Additionally, they provide strategic reporting and analytics to senior leadership, and guide large‑scale system conversions and change‑management efforts. The Payroll & Timekeeping Director will report to the Financial Shared Services Director, will be highly visible to executive leadership, and will be a key player in establishing a best-in-class Financial Shared Services team at Northrop Grumman.

This role will demand excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. Candidates will need to demonstrate effective communication skills and be able to translate complex payroll issues to non‑technical audiences and senior executives.

Salary Range

Primary Level Salary Range: $177,000.00 - $265,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
