Position Overview:

Reporting to the Vice President, Resource Development, the Director, Operations, Gift Accounting, and Analytics, Resource Development (Director) provides strategic leadership and execution for the systems, processes, technology, and business operations that support United Way of New York City's fundraising efforts. This position is responsible for building, institutionalizing, maintaining, and continuously improving the operational infrastructure that enables Resource Development to function effectively and scale over time.

The Director oversees fundraising operations, donor systems administration, gift entry and administration, prospect research, fundraising analytics, campaign operations, and data governance. Working collaboratively across Resource Development, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing & Communications, and Executive Leadership, the Director establishes clear and sustainable processes, documentation, controls, and cross-functional ways of working; reduces operational and key-person dependencies; strengthens data integrity; and delivers reporting and business intelligence that support fundraising strategy, donor experience, and operational excellence.
