    Join the Hamburg Area School District as the Director of Transportation & Child Accounting and play a vital leadership role in ensuring safe, efficient student transportation and accurate student enrollment reporting across the district.

    This position oversees all transportation operations, including routing, contractor management, budgeting, safety compliance, and specialized transportation services. The Director also leads child accounting functions, ensuring accurate enrollment, attendance, and state reporting in compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements.

    The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills, along with experience in transportation operations, data management, regulatory compliance, and customer service. Knowledge of Pennsylvania school transportation regulations, child accounting requirements, PIMS reporting, and student information systems is highly desirable.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3�5 years of supervisory or administrative experience
    • Knowledge of Pennsylvania transportation and child accounting regulations
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and data management skills
    • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
    • Bachelor's degree and K�12 school district experience preferred

    Employment Terms:

    • 12-months, full time
    • Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience)

    • Act 93 employees receive 20 vacation days, 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and 11 paid holidays annually
