HornBill has a client seeking a Director of Tax Operations in Marlborough, Massachusetts (MA). Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax laws
- Oversee the creation and retention of working papers, studies and other documentation
- Evaluate all tax reporting options available to minimize taxes
- Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation, regulations, rulings, court cases, etc.
- Select and implement information systems that improve tax reporting
- Attract and retain talent
- Bachelor's degree in Taxation or Accounting
- Master's degree in Taxation and/or CPA preferred
- 10+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry
- 5+ years tax experience within med-tech industry is preferred
- Managerial experience supervising teams of 5+ people
- Excellent coaching, personnel development and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Exposure to international tax issues preferred
