Director of Finance & Accounting

Summary:

The Director, Finance & Accounting is a key member of the Innové Beauty & Wellness Finance team, providing leadership within the department and influencing decisions across the company.

Essential Functions:

• Supervising members of the F&A team
• Coordinating all portions of the monthly accounting close and reporting process
• Interacting with external auditors and leading annual audit process
• Leading the annual financial budget and periodic financial forecasts
• Performing monthly financial analysis of customer, brand, category and item profitability
• Performing pricing analysis for new/updated products and services
• Analyzing and presenting financial data, and associated risks and opportunities, to management in actionable context
• Establishing and publishing dashboard metrics for various audiences including executive management, department managers and board of directors
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing, the CEO and CFO to review and improve financial performance and understanding based on financial drivers and metrics
• Other job responsibilities as assigned.

Skills/Characteristics Needed for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• A CPA and MBA are preferred, but not required
• Experience with multi-entity/foreign currency consolidation is preferred
• Two or more years of manufacturing experience is preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Financial accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and product pricing required
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI and an ERP system is required
• Successful communication with cross functional teams and manufacturing personnel, as well as executive management

Physical Requirements:

The person is this position normally works in an office environment and must be able to remain stationary majority of the day behind a desk utilizing a PC and telephone. The position requires periodic trips into the plant and occasionally moving up to 20 pounds.
