Reports to: VP of Hotel Accounting

Pay Range: $95,000$115,000

Job Summary: The Director of Accounts Payable will directly manage the Accounts Payable function for the Stonebridge Companies portfolio of hotels and manage the Denver-based accounts payable team.

Essential Functions and Duties: 

· Strategic leadership: Manages and directs Accounts Payable process and Accounts Payable team

· Accounts Payable Support: Processing invoices using the M3, Ottimate, and Paymerang systems

· Cash Flow Management: Partner with treasury team to monitor cash balances while making payments on a regular strategic cadence

· Vendor Management: Manage vendor onboarding process while adhering to compliance requirements

· Process Optimization & Automation: Champion workflow automation initiatives, and continuously looking for ways to gain efficiencies while streamline functions

· Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal, organizational and relationship building skills

· Year end 1099 processing

· Research discrepancies and follows up with compliance related issues

· Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines

· Must be able to provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers

· Other duties assigned as necessary

Required Experience, Education, and Skills: 

· 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable

· 2+ years of management experience

· Strong understanding of Accounting

· Hospitality management experience preferred

· Exceptional multitasking, time management, and organizational skills

· Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, AP automation tools, and Microsoft Excel

· Highly refined verbal communication skills

· High-level accuracy, attention to detail, and technical proficiency
