Director of Accounting & LGUS Shared Services

What you will enjoy doing*

• Lead a multi-location shared services organization with approximately 150 employees and seven direct reports across diverse functional areas
• Provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to develop leadership and foster a high-performance culture
• You will establish departmental priorities, service standards, and operating rhythms aligned with business and finance objectives
• Oversee general ledger, payroll, benefits accounting, customer financial services, collections, cash applications, and regional accounting functions
• Ensure compliance with SOX, sales and use tax, property tax, and support audit readiness and internal control remediation
• And you will drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement to enhance service delivery, reduce risk, and increase scalability
• Partner with senior leaders across Finance, Tax, Operations, IT, and business units to support enterprise priorities, system implementations, and transformation initiatives
• Further, you will dvelop and monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics to promote accountability and transparency
• Guarantee clear documentation of processes, procedures, roles, responsibilities, and controls across the shared services organization

What makes you great

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, shared services, or related business areas
• Proven leadership of large, multi-functional teams within complex, matrixed organizations
• You have strong expertise in accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance, and close processes
• A demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, implement automation, and deliver measurable operational improvements

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range
$166,125 - $243,650.
