Position DescriptionTitle: Director of FP&ADepartment: FP&AImmediate Supervisor: Vice President of FP&A Position Purpose: This role serves as the primary FP&A partner to commercial and senior leadership, delivering strategic financial insights that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and profitability. The Director owns P&L reporting for business areas, leads critical planning processes, and provides clear, actionable analysis to support executive decision-making. This is a highly visible role with regular exposure to the executive leadership team.

Principle Accountabilities

Serve as a strategic finance thought partner to senior leadership, shaping enterprise decisions through sharp financial insight, disciplined analytics, and forward-looking perspectives focused on the commercial team. Own monthly distribution of business segment financial results, including executive-level variance analysis, bridge explanations, and interpretation of key performance drivers (price, volume, mix, cost) helping the business prioritize actions that drive sustainable value creation. Develop and deliver executive-level financial storytelling, synthesizing data into compelling insights that influence strategic direction and leadership decisions. Partner with executive leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, portfolio optimization, and capital allocation decisions, assessing risk/reward tradeoffs through scenario analysis and strategic modeling. Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, and Finance leaders to ensure alignment between strategic objectives, operational execution, and financial outcomes. Support M&A, corporate strategy, and transformation initiatives through robust financial analysis, scenario modeling, due diligence support, and strategic insight for executive decision-making. Mentor and review the work of FP&A team members, raising the bar on analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and executive presence.

Essential Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred. 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5 years of FP&A and business-partnering responsibility. Deep understanding of financial operations, including financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into clear strategic recommendations. Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and driving decisions through insight rather than authority. Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills; strong proficiency in Excel and financial systems. Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools preferred. Excellent executive communication and presentation skills. Ability to lead through influence, prioritize competing demands, and operate effectively under tight timelines. Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process and reporting enhancements. Strong interpersonal skills enabling the development of confidence and trust among stakeholders
