Director, Corporate Accounting

Salary: $180k - $210k plus bonus plus annual equity for a total comp of $290k- $350k

Hybrid schedule! Direct and lead the corporate accounting function, with full responsibility for managing and developing a team of accounting professionals. Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate accounting function, overseeing and directing a team of accounting professionals.
• Own month-end and reporting responsibilities, including creating reporting packages for the financial reporting team.
• Oversee fixed assets, general accounting, accounts payable and payroll areas, ensuring accuracy.
• Prepare quarterly balance sheet and income statement analytics.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Drive automation and AI
• Build and manage dashboards to track key accounting KPIs.
• Remain current with accounting and incorporate the latest technical accounting guidance
• Ensure general ledger integrity, including chart of accounts and system mapping.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with the company’s T&E policies
• Partner with IT to implement ERP modules
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely delivery of financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8-15 years of public accounting and / or corporate accounting
• Proven leadership experience managing on-site and offshore teams.
• Experience with process automation, outsourcing, and shared services a plus.
