Credit/Collections & AR Specialist

Robinson Oil Corporation, dba Rotten Robbie, is looking for a Credit/Collections & AR Specialist to join the accounting team in our corporate office. This is a full-time, on site position, responsible for performing a variety of functions related to our commercial fuel accounts, including running credit reports, monitoring account status and AR aging, reconciling transactions, and making collection calls. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices and payments; resolve billing issues.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment; follow up to maintain net terms.
• Generate and distribute AR-related reports.
• Assist with processing credit applications; run credit reports. 
• Maintain accurate customer/credit files, including signed applications, financials, credit investigations, approval/denial documentation, and updated information as needed.
• Process account holds; review and distribute daily credit hold reports.
• Proactively follow up on overdue accounts through collection outreach and escalations. 
• Assist with collections related to commercial tenant receivables as needed.
• Monitor for fraud activity and process fraud claims. 
• Reconcile network transactions.
• Assist with tax calculations. 
• Provide back-up support for other positions within the department as needed, including backup for the AR Support Analyst.

• Minimum 2+ years accounting experience in AR, Credit/Collections, or similar position.
• AA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
• Ability to learn and implement new technologies and business processes.
• Strong typing (including 10-key) and data entry skills.
• Superior attention to detail and organization.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
