CPA / Construction Accountant

Civil Construction Experience Required

Circle H Dirt Work & Excavation LLC is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced CPA or Construction Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our growing heavy civil construction company.

If you have a strong background in construction accounting, job costing, and financial reporting—and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment—we'd like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial reporting and month-end/year-end close
• Job costing and profitability analysis
• Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Cash flow management
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable oversight
• Progress billing and retainage tracking
• General ledger management and reconciliations
• CPA coordination, tax preparation support, and audit readiness
• Process improvement and internal financial controls

Qualifications

• CPA preferred (or equivalent construction accounting experience)
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Civil or commercial construction accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of job costing and cost codes
• Experience with construction financial statements and WIP schedules
• Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
