HornBill has a client seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Canton, Massachusetts (MA). Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain standard costs
- Ensure the accuracy of bills of material
- Research and provide insight on variances
- Develop and evaluate key performance indicators
- Lead cost saving initiatives
- Assist with budget and forecasts
- Reconcile general ledger inventory accounts
- Prepare management reports
- Assist with the evaluation of capital projects
- Evaluate inventory controls and monitor inventory test counts
- Bachelor's degree required, concentrations in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred; MBA is a plus
- 5+ years of related experience, preferably in a standard cost manufacturing environment
- Understanding of GAAP, costing techniques, ERP/MRP systems and inventory controls
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft AX/Dynamics 365 is a plus
