Cost Accountant

Job Summary:

As their Cost Accountant, you would be responsible for analyzing and managing product costing activities within a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate cost reporting, inventory valuation, and financial analysis to support operational efficiency and profitability.

Key job duties, among others:

• Analyze product costs, material usage, labor, and overhead to ensure accurate cost accounting.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory transactions, standard costs, and manufacturing variances.
• Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports, inventory valuations, and margin analyses.
• Partner with operations leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing reporting.
