We are presently seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to provide management, lenders, and clients with accurate and timely financial information analysis and reporting.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, local income tax returns, REIT testing, property tax returns, business tax returns and annual reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all returns and payments.
• Ensure tax compliance at federal, state and local levels including staying updated with current tax practices and changes in laws.
• Oversee and manage the preparation of investor financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate distribution of investor K-1s and financial statements.
• Manage investor requests and communication.
• Manage legal entities and investment organizational charts.
• Supervise the storage and organization of closing books and third-party reports for communities.
• Oversee and manage workers’ compensation and 401(k) audits.
• Perform special projects and duties as assigned.          

• 5+ of years of tax preparation/review experience required, preferably in real estate
• Bachelor’s degree 
• CPA certification
• Strong analytical, organizational and proactive analysis abilities
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Suite applications
• Accounting software skills, preferably MRI
• Detail orientated, the ability to multitask, and be a team player in a fast-paced environment
