Summary
The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will be employed within the Accounting Department of Glacier Bancorp, Inc. The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist is a highly experienced accounts payable expert that is responsible for ensuring accuracy, integrity and efficiency when approving invoices and expense reimbursements for Corporate Departments and Divisions. Attention to detail is key and utmost passion for the work is highly valued. The team member will provide technical guidance, mentor team members, support leadership with process improvements, workflow management and support the Accounts Payable Supervisor with deployment of projects and initiatives. The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist exercises independent judgment when researching and resolving complex issues, recommends process improvements, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. The team member will work closely with Corporate Departments and Divisions to improve efficiency while maintaining exceptional customer service. This team member will assist with and lead meetings, workload management, and conduct audit walkthroughs. The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist assists with training and onboarding new team members. They will demonstrate leadership through influence rather than direct supervision and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
This is a Corporate position which may be located in an available bank division across our nine-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, TX, UT, WA, or WY. The entry rate for this position is $50,830.84 + / year (calculated for Kalispell, MT). Click here to learn more about our bank divisions.
All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.

Description
- Inputs, reviews, approves, and processes accounts payable payments and reimbursements for Divisions via ACH, Check and Credit Card Disposition, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and reimbursements.
- Inputs and reviews vendors (determination of tax reporting, setup, review, W-9s and confirming Vendor ACH Authorization forms) within Accounts Payable Solution. Responsible for completing Vendor Maintenance.
- Provides technical guidance, mentors team members, assists with training and onboarding new team members, supports leadership, and makes recommendations to improve processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Oversees Accounts Payable workflows to ensure invoices move efficiently through approvals. Proactively works with internal and external Flexi Admins to resolve workflow or system issues.
- Builds and maintains strong partnerships with Corporate Departments and Divisions. Provides guidance while delivering exception customer service and resolving complex inquires.
- Assists with leading meetings, provide coverage for other teammates or supervisor, creates duty roster if necessary, and conducting audit walkthroughs.
- Responsible for Accounts Payable Clearing Account reconcilement.
- Processes Prepaid, Recurring, Director payments, Cell Phone and Xenmobile Reimbursements.
- Documents exceptions to invoice numbering system and vendor payment requirements.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
