Who We Are Looking For

Slate is seeking a detail oriented, highly collaborative Corporate Intercompany Accountant to support and manage intercompany accounting activities across our growing organization. This role is critical to ensuring accurate intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations, while supporting a scalable close process and strong internal controls as the company continues to grow.

What You Get to Do

• Manage Intercompany Transactions – Record, reconcile, and monitor intercompany transactions across multiple legal entities, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of differences.

• Intercompany Reconciliations & Eliminations – Prepare and maintain intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries as part of the monthly and year end close process.

• Support Month End and Year End Close – Assist with close activities related to intercompany balances, including variance analysis and coordination with cross functional and international stakeholders.

• Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance – Support adherence to established transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements in partnership with tax and finance teams.

• Facilitate Audit and Compliance Efforts – Provide audit support related to intercompany activity, including schedules, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Contribute to ERP Implementation – Participate in ERP system implementation and optimization efforts related to intercompany accounting, netting, and consolidation processes.

• Develop and Maintain Standard Procedures – Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation for intercompany accounting activities to promote consistency and efficiency.

• Support Public Company Readiness – Assist in building scalable intercompany processes, controls, and documentation to support public company reporting requirements.

• Drive Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of intercompany accounting and close processes.

What You Bring to the Team

• Proven experience in intercompany accounting within a multi entity or manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and close processes.

• Experience supporting audits and maintaining compliance with internal controls.

• Ability to interpret and apply accounting policies with strong attention to detail.

• Ownership mindset with a high level of accountability and follow through.

• Clear, thoughtful communicator able to work cross functionally and across entities.

• Strong analytical skills and sound professional judgment.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, evolving environment.

• Commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity.

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred
