What you'll do
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage tax filings, licenses, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Supervise and support the accounting team, including AP, payroll, and staff accounting functions
- Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, audits, and strategic initiatives
- Oversee restaurant bookkeeping processes and financial reporting accuracy
- Support benefits administration, vendor coordination, and compliance requirements
- Act as a key liaison with external auditors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of related accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience managing teams and leading projects
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and time manage
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Rippling or similar systems preferred

Annual salary range: $120,000 -- $160,000 (DOE)
