The Corporate Consolidations Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close and consolidation process, including trial balance consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, elimination entries, and the preparation of management, lender, and investor reporting packages. In addition to core accounting responsibilities, this position will help drive reporting standardization, process improvements, and financial transparency across a multi-state, multi-business-unit organization.

Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly consolidation of financial results across operating entities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Consolidate trial balances and maintain financial reporting workbooks
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and assist with elimination entries
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Assist with management, lender, and investor reporting packages
- Maintain and improve reporting processes and documentation
- Coordinate with accounting teams across operating companies to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across operating entities.
- Create executive-level financial dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership and board presentations.
- Support purchase accounting and acquisition-related reporting requirements.
- Help to establish scalable reporting processes across a growing family of companies.
- Serve as a liaison between corporate finance and operating company accounting teams.
- Train and support local accounting teams on reporting requirements and best practices.
- Drive consistency in financial reporting processes across multiple business units.
- Support annual audits and ad hoc financial analysis projects
- Assist with other, ad-hoc financial duties as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling.
- Experience with multi-entity consolidations preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
