About the Role
Supports the Accounts Receivable process by applying customer payments, maintaining customer accounts, resolving payment discrepancies, monitoring receivables, and ensuring accurate transaction processing and reporting in SAP.
Pay Range: $23 to $27/Hour
Shift: 1st
Education: Associates Degree in Accounting required, Bachelors in Accounting preferred.
TOP most relevant SKILLS AND ABILITIES being sought for this position:
- Strong SAP skills required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software applications.
- Proficient in general office operations, including computers and office equipment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Ability to perform all assigned tasks to meet company expectations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with good organizational abilities.
TOP most relevant ACTUAL TASKS being sought for this position:
- Work up daily cash deposits and bank wire payments posting to customers’ accounts in SAP; record daily to monthly cash logs.
- Research and resolve customer payment discrepancies maintaining a record of all findings and collection efforts.
- Maintain Aging Accounts Receivable Reports.
- Process new customer applications for credit approval and contact credit references.
- Set up and maintain customer accounts.
- Record and post Accounts Receivable adjustments to customer accounts in SAP. Assist in posting adjustments for other site locations.
- Assist with applying payments to the corresponding invoices in SAP.
- Maintain a credit report acceptable to SEW-EURODRIVE.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
