Job Title: Corporate Accounting Analyst, Intercompany and Systems Support

Location: 100% REMOTE, PST Hours required

Rate: $60-$62/ hour

Duration: Through 9/4/2026 - extension possible based on budget and performance

This role supports the Corporate Accounting organization with a primary focus on monthly close execution, specifically intercompany accounting activities. The position also contributes to general ledger maintenance, data governance, and User Acceptance Testing for accounting and finance systems that directly impact the close and consolidation process.

The role sits within Corporate Accounting and supports the general ledger close and consolidation environment, including SAP and related reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly Close and Intercompany Accounting

• Support the monthly accounting close rhythm in alignment with the close calendar
• Review, validate, and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
• Investigate and assist in resolving intercompany differences and timing issues
• Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate postings and close deliverables
• Support reconciliations, variance analysis, and close documentation

Systems, Data Governance, and GL Maintenance

• Support general ledger master data maintenance activities
• Assist with data governance and data quality reviews impacting financial reporting
• Help identify and resolve issues related to chart of accounts changes, mappings, and master data updates

User Acceptance Testing and Systems Enablement

• Execute UAT test scripts for accounting and finance systems
• Validate accounting outcomes across source systems and downstream reporting
• Document defects, data issues, and test results
• Partner with Finance, Engineering, and IT teams through defect triage and fix validation
• Support test readiness activities including access validation, scenario setup, and maintenance of testing documentation
• Refresh and maintain Power BI reporting as required

A significant portion of non‑close time is dedicated to UAT activities supporting the SAP S/4HANA implementation.

Performance is measured by:

• Timely and accurate execution of monthly close and intercompany activities
• Quality and completeness of UAT execution, documentation, and issue resolution
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high data quality standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required

Experience

• Strong foundation in corporate accounting and accounting close activities
• Hands‑on exposure to finance or accounting systems in a production or test environment
• Experience supporting accounting or finance‑related system testing initiatives

Core Skills

• Intercompany accounting and close execution
• Accounting outcome validation across systems
• ERP finance systems, with SAP S/4HANA exposure preferred
• User Acceptance Testing for accounting and finance tools
• Defect documentation, test evidence creation, and issue triage

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates with prior Deloitte consulting experience are not eligible for this role
• Demonstrated ability to operate across both operational accounting work and systems enablement activities
• Comfort working in structured, deadline‑driven close cycles as well as more investigative systems testing environments
• Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
