Cozza Enterprises is seeking a hands-on, high-impact Controller to join our leadership team and oversee the financial operations of a growing portfolio of commercial real estate holdings and operating companies. What You’ll Do

Lead Financial Operations

• Oversee accounting and financial operations across multiple business entities
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting functions
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls

Drive Strategic Financial Leadership

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Monitor organizational cash flow and support financial decision-making
• Provide financial analysis and insights that support business growth and operational strategy

Partner with Executive Leadership

• Work directly with the CEO and leadership team on financial performance initiatives
• Support operational improvements and process optimization across the organization
• Assist with strategic planning and business performance analysis

Strengthen Processes & Compliance

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial procedures
• Coordinate insurance administration and related financial activities
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and workflow effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 5–10 years of accounting or finance leadership experience
• Strong QuickBooks experience required
• Experience managing multiple entities or closely held businesses preferred
• Commercial real estate accounting experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
