CONTROLLER

Job Description

SYTECH is a growing precision metal fabrication company located in Spokane, WA. The Controller is responsible for maximizing financial returns on assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. The Controller protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. Position requires collection, analysis, and consolidation of financial data. Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements is expected and regular study of existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions when required.

Annual Salary is $98,000 - $130,000.

Job Type: Full-time - EXEMPT

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

Degree om Finance/Accounting or related, CPA Preferred

5 years of work experience as a Finance Manager 

Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Understanding of economic principles, financial markets, and banking

Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting

Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent report-writing and communication skills.

Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and other financial planning software.

Ability to accurately read and interpret applicable laws and regulations.
