Role: Controller
Location: Remote
Our client is a high-growth DTC wellness company focused on women’s health. After scaling from approximately $10M to $100M in annual revenue within two years, the company is entering its next phase of operational maturity and infrastructure buildout.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly operational, hands-on Controller to own and scale the company’s finance infrastructure during a period of hypergrowth.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments and wants direct ownership over building scalable financial systems and processes.
You will work directly with the founders and leadership team to establish financial clarity, operational rigor, and long-term infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Own month-end close and reporting process
- Build scalable P&L infrastructure
- Manage balance sheet and cash flow reporting
- Support budgeting and forecasting
- Analyze margins, CAC/LTV, and operational performance
- Partner with leadership on financial decision-making
- Improve accounting systems and automation
- Assist in ERP evaluation and implementation
- Consolidate fragmented vendor relationships
- Improve reporting speed and financial visibility
Qualifications:
- Required:
- 5–10+ years of accounting/finance experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP/accounting fundamentals
- Experience owning close processes
- Strong Excel/financial modeling skills
- Experience in high-growth environments
- Ability to operate autonomously
- Preferred:
- DTC/eCommerce experience
- Amazon/TikTok Shop exposure
- Startup scaling experience
- Consumer products experience
- QuickBooks familiarity
- ERP implementation exposure
- Experience leveraging AI/automation tools
