Job Overview:

This is a full-time exempt position. The accountant prepares financial statements that meet GAAP standards, provides support to ensure adequate controls, processes & procedures are in place. The position will handle a wide variety of accounting responsibilities for the company. As such, they will have direct responsibility for maintaining an accurate set of Financial Statements through an efficient, timely monthly closing process. The role will also have involvement with maintaining accurate revenue recognition & commission reporting and producing various accounting and financial reports. This role will have some audit and strong data manipulation deliverables.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration or related field and/or minimum of eight years’ experience in accounting and finance. The position requires strong expertise with QuickBooks and other types of accounting software, and Microsoft software including Word, and advanced Excel skills preferred. Solid written and verbal communication skills, ability to pay attention to detail, work on multiple assignments, consistently meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to working with a diverse staff are essential to successfully carry out the duties of this position. Ideal candidates will have some audit and strong data manipulation experience.

The base salary range for this position is $119,000 to $165,000.  The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
