Position Overview

Growing healthcare organization seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee accounting, financial reporting, audits, compliance, and budgeting across multiple entities. This role reports directly to executive leadership, manages a small accounting team, and supports company growth and expansion. Seeking candidates who want long-term growth, ownership, and the opportunity to help build alongside an expanding organization.

• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency

• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

• Able to lead a team while remaining hands-on

• Comfortable in fast-paced, growing environments

• Self-sufficient and eager to learn

• Strong communicator with a “roll up your sleeves” mentality

Key Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Manage audits and regulatory reporting

• Oversee AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial accuracy

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and analytics

• Ensure compliance with financial and banking requirements

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff

• Partner with leadership on financial operations and growth initiatives

Qualifications & Must-Haves

Required:

• Accounting or Finance background

• Strong Excel skills

• Experience with financial reporting and audits

• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines

• Leadership or team oversight experience

Preferred:

• Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accountant experience

• Healthcare or highly regulated industry background

• Public accounting experience welcomed

• Multi-entity experience preferred
