ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team in a 15-month maternity leave coverage role. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who is equally comfortable setting direction and rolling up their sleeves in a lean, fast-growing environment.

As Controller, you will lead the accounting function and play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, the effectiveness of internal controls, and the delivery of timely, accurate financial information that supports business decision-making.

You will oversee core accounting operations, treasury, payroll, tax, and compliance, while helping scale and strengthen the finance function to support continued growth. This role will also be instrumental in improving processes, optimizing systems and workflows, and reducing manual effort to drive greater efficiency, visibility, and control across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and a practical, leadership-oriented mindset. You are someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys building structure and improving processes, and can confidently lead change while supporting and elevating the broader finance function.

Salary Range: $130,000$150,000 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
