Compliance Analyst

Principal Responsibilities:
- Perform strategic risk assessments to ensure project insurance coverage aligns with contractual requirements as outlined in client agreements. Validate that coverages listed on Certificates of Insurance meet required standards and specifications.
- Monitor outstanding renewal documents and conduct timely follow-ups:
10 days prior to due date for pending certificates
5 days after due date
Ongoing follow-up every two days thereafter via email and/or phone until receipt
- Proactively manage insurance renewals by running monthly expiration reports approximately 30 days prior to renewal dates.
- Generate and distribute renewal request letters to insurance agents and management companies via the client servicing system, email, or fax.
- Review received Certificates of Insurance to confirm compliance with required coverage. Identify and document any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
- For compliant policies, upload and maintain current Certificates of Insurance within the client’s document management system.
- Collaborate with insurance agents and management companies to resolve non-compliant coverage issues and ensure timely correction.
- When applicable, provide recommendations to clients regarding the approval of requests for waivers of insurance requirements.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports summarizing monitoring activities, including outstanding certificates and properties that are not in compliance with insurance requirements.
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and work experience..
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate risk and make recommendations.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret insurance policies, PMLs .
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a focus on Outlook, Excel and Word.
