Overview
The Compensation Analyst supports the design, administration, and evaluation of compensation programs. This role partners with HR and business stakeholders to ensure pay practices are competitive, aligned, and compliant. It’s a strong entry point for someone looking to grow in Total Rewards and Compensation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and analyze third-party compensation surveys (e.g., Radford, Willis Towers Watson, Korn Ferry)
- Support administration of base salary and incentive programs
- Analyze compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and compliance risks
- Assist with job evaluations and role leveling using established frameworks
- Review roles within job architecture to ensure proper alignment and consistency
- Prepare reports and insights for HR Business Partners and leadership
- Respond to routine compensation-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate compensation data across HR systems
- Support audits and ensure compliance with compensation regulations
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-ops, or HR/analytical roles)
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer-service mindset with ability to support internal stakeholders
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Legal
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
