Position overview:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Commissions Accountant to join our accounting team. This role focuses on accounting for sales commissions, capitalizing and amortizing commission costs under ASC 340-40 (the accounting standard for capitalizing and amortizing the incremental costs of obtaining a customer contract, including sales commissions), and contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting. This is an entry-level position, and we welcome applications from recent graduates. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to learning and improving processes in a collaborative environment.
