Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Property Accountant

Location: Hybrid in Haddonfield (3 Days On-Site)

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000

Employment Type: Temporary through End of Year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Job Summary: Our Client is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Property Accountant to join their team. This is a temporary opportunity through the end of the year with a salary of $75,000-$85,000. The ideal candidate must have at least three years of commercial real estate accounting experience along with Yardi Voyager and PayScan experience. Company equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports.
• Review balance sheets and income statements to verify account balances and revenue and expense activity.
• Ensure accuracy of all general ledger information.
• Review and interpret leases to verify property and tenant information.
• Prepare lease abstracts.
• Prepare monthly tenant billing statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform CAM reconciliations and assemble supporting documentation for tenants.
• Meet Accounting Department calendar deadlines.
• Assist the Controller with preparation of funding requests.
• Prepare escrow withdrawal requests.
• Complete bank deposits as required.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Assist with special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of commercial real estate property accounting experience required.
• Yardi Voyager and PayScan experience required.
• Real estate industry experience required.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with CAM and tax billings required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Flexible approach to task management and changing priorities.
