ABOUT THE JOB The Commercial Finance Manager will serve as a trusted business partner to the East Region commercial team, driving financial performance, strategic decision-making, and executional excellence. This role goes beyond traditional FP&A—you will own the numbers, influence outcomes, and help shape the commercial agenda. We are seeking a self-starter with an owner mindset who thrives in ambiguity, is resourceful, and takes a hands-on approach to solving problems and driving results. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Partnership & Strategy Execution
- Act as the primary finance partner to Regional Sales leadership and distributor partners
- Translate commercial strategy into clear financial plans, targets, and KPIs
- Influence pricing, programming, and investment decisions to maximize ROI
- Partner cross-functionally (sales, marketing, and supply chain) to drive aligned execution
- Serves as the power user for Price Structure Management and Reimbursement Management
- Owns the Infinium pricing platform accuracy for assigned states (including alignment with distributor pricing systems)
- Set up deal desk procedures for pricing recommendations that fall outside of guardrails
- Implement quarterly price structure review to identify variances and resolve with distributors
- Sets all structure deals at aligned margin agreements
- Monitor deal mix to ensure compliance with margin agreements and prevent margin leak
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current pricing strategies and make recommendations to leadership for adjustments
- Own regional performance tracking across volume trends, revenue, and margin
- Deliver actionable insights, not just reporting—identify risks, opportunities, and root causes
- Lead monthly business reviews and provide clear, fact-based narratives to leadership
- Develop tools and analytics to improve visibility and speed of decision-making
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for the Central Region
- Evaluate investments (price and promotions) with clear ROI frameworks
- Support scenario modeling and “what-if” analysis to guide commercial decisions
- Ensure alignment between financial targets and execution plans
- Partner directly with Regional Sales and distributors to evaluate price effectiveness, profitability, and execution gaps
- Support joint business planning and help drive accountability to targets
- Provide financial perspective on market dynamics, pricing, and competitive positioning
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Predictive Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or related field
- 5-8+ years of work experience in relevant position(s), Alcohol Beverage or CPG Industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve processes and automate workflows—you can clearly articulate the opportunities AI presents and have concrete wins to show for it.
- Strong financial acumen across P&L management, pricing, and investment analysis
- Strong data analysis capabilities required, including advanced Excel skills (knowledge of data formatting and formulas, filters, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
- Requires ability to work independently with minimal guidance, to lead projects and ensure successful completion from start to finish.
- Possess a demonstrated ability to manage large datasets, interact with business intelligence systems and data visualization platforms such as Power BI.
- Strong analytical, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with ERP, EPM, and Business Intelligence platforms
- Extensive knowledge/experience working with a variety of data sources including and not limited to, syndicated data (IRI & Nielsen), census data, other.
- Highly motivated, results oriented individual who excels in dynamic environment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and make ongoing decisions. Proven ability to break down complex problems into manageable goals.
- Excellent time management, project planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences, and producing high-quality deliverables to drive business decisions.
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboard
- Target salary: $130,000– $150,000 per year (final offer based on experience).
