We are seeking a commercially minded and ambitious individual to join our newly established FP&A function within a fast-growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) business.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how financial and operational reporting is developed across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with teams across Finance, Operations, Sales, Service Delivery, and Leadership to create meaningful habitual reporting, improve visibility of business performance, and support strategic decision-making.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, building processes from the ground up, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to drive insight and accountability.
Nostra has offices in Dublin, Galway, Cork and Belfast. This role will be Dublin based.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Support the development of the FP&A function and reporting framework across the business.
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting packs.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Provide value adding insight to decision makers from analysis of revenue, margin, utilisation, and operational KPIs within the MSP environment.
- Provide financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Design, implement and own new habitual reporting across departments.
- Partner with operational teams to define meaningful KPIs and performance metrics.
- Improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and automation where possible.
- Develop dashboards and management information for senior leadership.
- Help establish scalable reporting processes suitable for a growing business.
- Collaborate with teams across Service Delivery, Sales and Operations.
- Translate financial and operational data into clear business insights.
- Partner with Senior department heads in understanding performance drivers and trends.
- Build strong working relationships across the organisation.
- Work with finance and operational systems to extract, validate, and analyse data
- Drive and support initiatives to improve data quality, refine reporting tools, and enhance data governance, ensuring greater accuracy, transparency, and effectiveness in financial reporting
- Assist with implementation or optimisation of BI/reporting platforms where relevant.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a growing environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central.
- Experience/Knowledge within an MSP, technology or services-based business.
- Exposure to FP&A, management reporting, or commercial finance.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
