| Qualifications (Experience/Education/Certification): |
| High School Diploma or higher. |
| Major Responsibilities: |
- Interact with property owners, real estate professionals, delivery staff and other public service members throughout the day.
- Collection of property tax payments over the front counter, by telephone, and via mail.
- Answer telephone and handle or transfer call as appropriate.
- Assist taxpayers with a variety of tax-related issues, applications, and any questions.
- Issue tax certificates.
- Connect taxpayers with appropriate personnel to resolve any issue that arises.
- Pulling and filing of appraisal folders, maps, plats, etc.
- Update owner information and exemptions, and proof data entered by other personnel.
- Duties as assigned by the Chief Appraiser.

- Be able to use a computer, printer, copier, and calculator.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Above average communication skills desired.
- Strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills are also required.

| Working Conditions (Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Demands): |
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in an acceptable manner, and maintain emotional control under stress in an offensive environment. Repetitive hand motions, prolonged use of computer, moderate lifting and carrying, ability to operate a motor vehicle, and work with frequent interruptions. Exposure to outdoor elements required in all weather conditions with moderate exposure to extreme temperatures. Frequent walking, climbing, and exposure to uneven surfaces for walking purposes. Ability to measure properties accurately and photograph existing buildings. Daily Rate: $115.27 |
