About the Role 

Davidson & Company is seeking a Co-op student to join our Cross-Border Tax practice for a four or eight-month period starting January 2027. 

Your responsibilities as a Co-op student, working in the Cross-Border Tax practice will include: 

• Assist in preparing personal tax returns, including cross-border filings for U.S. persons resident in Canada and U.S. citizens.  

• Develop and apply knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act and U.S. Internal Revenue Code corporate tax compliance, preparing tax returns and computing taxes for various entities.  

• Utilize various tools and software throughout Canadian and U.S. tax engagements, collaborating with the engagement team to build strong relationships.  

• Gain rotational experience across multiple specialty areas 

What You’ll Bring to the Table 

• You are currently working towards completion of the prerequisites for admission into the CPA PEP with the intention to pursue the CPA designation are preferred 

• Previous accounting related office experience is considered an asset 

• Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset

Let’s Talk Numbers 

We believe in transparency and fairness when it comes to compensation. For this role, the annual salary is $50,000 depending on your experience and what you bring to the table.
