Position Overview

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for the financial strategy, stewardship, and long-term fiscal health of the National Alliance for Care at Home, a 501(c)(6) organization and National Alliance for Care at Home Leadership Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. 

The CFO provides strategic and operational leadership for all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit oversight, compliance, and internal controls. The CFO also serves as the primary staff liaison to the Finance and Audit Committees, partnering with volunteer leaders to ensure strong governance and sound financial decision-making.

This role is ideal for a seasoned, forward-thinking leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building, improving, and modernizing financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, and strong business partnership skills, serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board, and leadership team.

This position is based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and is eligible for a hybrid (2-3 days in-office) work arrangement.

This position is classified as a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $270,000 to $330,000 annually to commensurate with related experience.
