Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic enterprise leader responsible for shaping the financial direction of Management Sciences for Health (MSH) and helping position the organization for long-term sustainability and growth. 

The CFO serves as the CEO's principal advisor on financial strategy, business performance, organizational investments, enterprise risk, pricing, and capital allocation. Beyond ensuring sound financial stewardship, the CFO helps the Leadership Team make better strategic decisions by translating financial information into clear insights, challenging assumptions, evaluating tradeoffs, and identifying opportunities to strengthen organizational performance. 

The CFO leads the transformation of MSH's finance function into a high-performing strategic partner that supports innovation, growth, and operational excellence. This includes modernizing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, costing, pricing, and performance management while ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity, compliance, and accountability. 

The successful candidate will combine deep nonprofit financial expertise with strong commercial judgment, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to influence decisions across a complex global organization. They will be equally comfortable engaging the Board of Directors on long-term financial strategy, coaching senior leaders through difficult resource decisions, and building a finance organization capable of supporting MSH's next phase of growth. 

This position is US-based remote position with Arlington, VA as a preferred location.

QUALIFICATIONS

The expected salary range for this position is: $220,000.00 - $275,000.00 annually (U.S. locations only).
