Description

The Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides executive leadership and oversight of all financial operations for a Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) owned or managed hospital. Working closely with CHC's Vice President of Hospital Financial Operations, the Interim CFO serves as a strategic financial leader responsible for ensuring the hospital's financial stability, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and long-term fiscal sustainability.

Supporting the hospital's mission and strategic objectives, the Interim CFO oversees financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, revenue cycle operations, payroll, accounting, auditing, treasury functions, purchasing, insurance, and capital management. This role ensures adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory requirements, and CHC financial policies and procedures while providing accurate and timely financial information to support operational decision-making.

The Interim CFO establishes and maintains positive working relationships with lending institutions, auditors, physicians, employees, community stakeholders, board members, and CHC leadership.
